Update on the little one

I am still quite worried about the little girl. Unfortunately I think only time will tell....

She still has not gained weight although she is constantly nursing. She seems strong; they other pups cannot push her off a nipple. I went to the vet to get some Whelpie and a little puppy nurser. Well that was a waste of time, as she will have NOTHING to do with a rubber nipple! She is strong enough that I can barely hold her to get the nipple in her mouth.

So I really do not know what to think other than I hate this part of just waiting....

They are just adorable, these little things!! Hope the little girl put on some weights and put your mind in peace!

I'm sure with all the love that you always give your dogs, and new puppies she will put on weight like the other three pups in due course. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi Bernadette. The puppies look beautiful. I hope the little girl will be ok. Strength is a very good sign though so stay positive and try not to worry x

I don't know what happened at Crufts to upset you but I am sure it isn't worth dwelling on- roll on 2008 Agility season and relaxing, and stressing with friends xxx

Sorry that the little one is a worry. I know the feeling.

But look at that wonderful little fat tummy on the other girl in that photo. She is precious!

And The Full Monty genes showing, eh?! ;-)

Keeping my fingers crossed for the little 'un.

They all look so cute even though they are shelties;)

I hope she picks up very quickly - I know how much you put into your pups and she will be getting the best help she could hope for.

Hi, I'm sure the little one will turn out just fine, she's like me (but far better looking and with MUCH better breeding)..... eats and eats and just doesn't seem to put it on! But I bet she will in time. Looking forward to seeing them; Warm wishes from T+M
