World Agility Championships - Good luck Unique!

Although I cannot be there in person, I will be there in spirit cheering for Susanne and Unique!
Unique (OBay Truly Unique) is Zen's litterbrother and he is competing for Denmark in the small individual and team. I am very proud of both of them!
This special team has it ALL and I hope Susanne enjoys every second of her time there. It is not often you get to run in a venue with hundreds of agility fanatics from countries far and wide!
I will be away in NY at my niece's wedding, so I am hoping for regular updates from anyone and everyone! Email, text or call!!

Amersterdam and Hob-b finally comes home!

After a ferry journey from England to The Netherlands we spent a day in Amsterdam. Dennis, Tazz and I walked around Amsterdam for awhile, killing time until we finally picked up Hob-b at the airport.

Amersterdam is an interesting city. It is so pretty and easy to walk around. The "coffee shops" are quite funny. Don't be confused, they don't sell coffee! While walking on one street, Tazz made a bee-line to a young girl sitting in the doorway at a coffee shop. She stroked him and said how cute he was. I mentioned that he probably thought she had food for him and she just laughed and pointed back to the coffee shop and said "no food, just weed"...not a comment you normally hear!

But watch out for the bikes! They are everywhere and can be so scarey! When you cross the street, you are watching for cars AND bikes. The bikes don't slow down for you either. In the background of this photo of me and Tazz notice the parking garage. It is multistory parking garage full of bicycles! There were hundreds, if not thousands!

We finally picked up Hob-b at Amsterdam Airport. We also said goodbye to Tazz who returned with Johanna to Denmark. Hopefully Tazz left behind a few babies with Zen! Here is a photo of Hob-b in her bag upon arrival into Amsterdam airport. Isn't she too cute! I cannot wait to get her home to England and let her settle in with the crew. She should do fine as she is so easy-going and friendly.

When Irish Eyes are Smiling!

Dennis and I have just returned from our trip to Ireland. We had a great time, but I must admit I prefer England and Scotland. Nothing is signposted in Ireland! It was very hard to find walking trails and tourist landmarks. Yet they had signs for every B&B posted in every town!

We took the ferry over from Wales (note: I want to visit Wales again for a longer period). Pax and Hex came along with us. They are such great travellers and I think they enjoyed Ireland!

The beaches were lovely, the views along the Ring of Kerry were awesome and the hot scones every morning caused me to gain weight! We stayed in a beautiful old cottage and we enjoyed that more than anything. It felt like you were in your own home. Much nicer than staying in a hotel.

Pax and Hex loved the beaches but we had to make sure that Hex did not get swept away by the currents. She has no fear of water!

Where did all these black dogs come from?

I love sable shelties!

Where did all these tri dogs come from?
:-)

Fingers crossed!

Keep your fingers crossed!

Well we did it.............. We bred Zen to Tazz.
Now the waiting game begins!
Here is a photo of the two lovebirds. They should make beautiful smart babies. We have to think of lots of "Z"names for this litter
