Ringsend Sundown Consort "Jordan"
14 Jan 1996 - 17 Feb 2010
For us this is a tremendous loss. I am still in disbelief and our house feels empty. My only consolation is that for Pax and Jordan there is no more pain and they are together.
At the end the vet asked if they were sisters and, although I said "no" at the time, I was wrong. They could not have been more like sisters. I could never have imagined losing both of them together; up until one month ago Jordan was not even ill. In some strange cosmic way I believe that Jordan knew that Pax needed her.
My three gorgeous girls Joy, Pax and Jordan are now together somewhere running and barking with abandon. Goodbye my sweet girls; until we meet again.

Oh Bernadette -
There are no words I can write that can make this less painful - having known both girls, I am deeply saddened by the news and especially shocked to hear about dear little Jordan.
They were meant to be together - I am so, so sorry.
Hugs and tears for you, Dennis and the girls.
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beautiful girls. I know it has to be very painful to lose them both at the same time.
There is some consolation in knowing they had wonderful, full lives and there are lots of good memories to savour.
Hugs from across the ocean,
Jo Ann

Some of my best memories of staying with you includes both of those gorgeous girls, quite a few of which make me really smile, even as I am typing this. Smudge will certainly miss Jordan next time we visit.

Such a loss...so hard to accept, to lose them both at once. But yes, they are together and that is a comfort I'm sure.
I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you, and of them xx
I'm so sorry for your loss. They sound like they were such special girls.
Our deepest sympathy,
So sorry for your loss.
Dearest Bernadette and Dennis, I am so sad for you both! It just seems like yesterday when we got to celebrate Jordan's wonderful birthday and her absolute lovely sweetness and gentleness and loving beautiful nature. Just like you wrote Pax needed her and she wanted to comfort and be with Pax when she made that journey so that Pax wouldn't be alone. Now they are side-by-side little Angels.
And now every one of those sweet dogs are together, joined in yours and Dennis' hearts and memories...
I just wish there was something, anything that we could all say every moment to you, each time the grief and sorrow comes...but I am sure that Pax and Jordan are that moment of comfort! Your side-by-side angels and Joy too, to remind you both of the many splendid joys that they have all brought to you and Dennis!
Hugs, love and tears from everyone here! and across in the U.S.!
Sweet dreams and fly in Beauty with your Joy, Jordan and Pax!
Love always, Serena
We can only imagine the depth of your loss. We are thankful for Jordan's gift of Halo, who has turned out to be as sweet as her Mom.
Special thoughts and prayers to you, Dennis and those Pax and Jordan had to leave behind.
